“Life’s a game for everyone, and love is the prize.” Like Avicii, love is a feeling we all desire. It really is the grand prize.
This article goes out to all the spontaneous lovers and people in general who seek new experiences.

Now, why am I getting all poetic? Partly because I had La vie en rose playing in the background but mainly because I recently watched a video called “STRANGERS FLY TO ITALY FOR DREAM BLIND DATE FOR 24 HOURS” by the popular YouTube channel Yes Theory.
I love YouTube in a way I can’t explain, it occupies a lot of time but it’s like my Netflix or your Disney Plus. I watch all sort of content related to people, social interactions and social experiments.
My favourite channels are “Jubilee”, “Ryan Trahan”, “Logan Paul” and “Luke Eich” because I find all of them very captivating and funny. BUT THIS TIME it wasn’t any of those four.
THIS TIME IT WAS THE ALMIGHTY “YES THEORY”!

That’s right. The creators of the movement “Seek discomfort”. They are three guys that met in THIS very city, Montreal, Canada in 2015 and decided to do as many things as they could out of their comfort zone in 30 days. Certain things lead to others and boom, they now have 7.8 million subscribers.
WHAT does THIS have to do with love though?
Well, the banger of a video I mentioned earlier on has quite a lot to do with it. Ammar (guy on the left) decides one day to prank Matt (on the right) with a trip to Italy with a breath-taking Australian girl. If that’s what Ammar considers as a “prank”, can he please prank me next?
Oh wait. There’s a catch.
Sure, he’s got a flight to Italy and he has a date with a beautiful and funny Australian stranger but now Sarah (the Australian lady) is expecting an amazing date in Rome. Matt has to do everything he can in his power to make this a great date in a place he knows nothing about.
Yes, that’s why I watch YouTube. Also, I’m missing something very important. The girl was a stranger to Ammar, Matt and everyone a week ago before they found her on Tinder. She met the perfect girl checklist that Matt had been talking about for a long time.
1. She was funny
2. Outgoing
3. Smart
4. Well-read and well-traveled
5. Blonde
and finally…….
6. Australian. That’s the reason they invited her on this random trip with Matt.
Matt ends up taking her to a bunch of amazing places around Italy with a Vespa and it was an amazing date.

The reason I’m writing about this particular video though is because of how both parties really went out of their comfort zone in order to have a great and spontaneous date.
I absolutely love how they were able to achieve something amazing by simply saying yes to it and taking a risk. Sure, many moments were probably incredibly awkward but who really cares at the end of the day?
Let’s seek discomfort. Viva the Yes Theory.

Loved your Avicii intro, which directly settles the vibe for the rest of the post. Like the two lovers, your writing is spontaneous.
To give more core to your article you could have developed a bit more on the comfort zone and what getting out of it can procure to one another. It would have created a general argument for your reader!
I absolutely loved reading this post and found myself laughing so many times! I liked the style of your writing and the conclusion you took from watching this video; it also motivated me to seek discomfort :) Also was not expecting to see Luke Eich here, he is one of my favs too!
